Books To Read On Vacation

i'm leaving for hawaii tomorrow for 14 days.

and the last thing i left on my to-do list was books! the most important part.

vacation books are the best kind, sometimes. and i'm stumped as to any i can bring.

on my last vacation i brought "confederates in the attic", "everything is illuminated", and "franny and zooey" (just because i like it). and it was marvelous.

asside from trashy cosmo-chick-novels or oprah's book club books (which i despise), i can't think of ANYTHING to bring. and i don't have time to peruse the bookstore, as i'm leaving tomorrow...

help!?

you know, the last thing you need on vacation is some uber heavy ultra dramatic book to get you down. That's why I recommend something totally out of whack: Colors Insulting to Nature by Cintra Wilson.

The Other Boleyn Girl was really good, I couldn't put it down. Best to read it before the movie comes out.
