Just finished The Book of Negroes, then read The Reluctant Fundamentalist by Mohsin Hamid.

Both amazing books that I recommend to anyone.

Someone on KR mailed me The Reluctant Fundamentalist for World Book Night 2011. I don't remember which user it was (Sorry!! Bad memory!) but it says in the book that their name was Rachel. Thanks again

Wow I haven't visited this thread in a long time. Ok since i last updated I've read The Hours, Specimen Days and By Nightfall by Michael Cunningham, and Mildred Pierce by James M. Cain. They were all marvellous. I am currently reading Possession by A.S Byatt, which is very good so far.
