The only thing that struck me about AMND that was remotely negative was that the plot reminded me of a badly-scripted modern soap opera, ehehe.
I adore all of Shakespeare's plays. I don't see any point in my buying Shakespeare publications, so I've read virtually all of his plays online. It's difficult to list least favourites, I love all of his works so much. Among my favourites are: The Merchant of Venice, Hamlet, Othello (I love it so much I owe my name-sake to it

), Titus Andronicus, Macbeth and Love's Labours Lost. I was delighted upon recieving my school booklist yesterday, my English class will be studying Othello next term. Though brilliant, it's quite transparent and I anticipate that I will have no problems whatsoever on being examined on it. Whereas with Hamlet (which is what my school usually chooses for that term), the analogys/themes/contrasts/emotions, etc are so many and so varied it can be diffucult to get your head around something, pin it down and explain it (if that makes sense). Last year, my class studied The Merchant of Venice (which I was examined on last week), and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The modern film adaptation isn't bad either, Al Pacino makes a simply gobsmacking Shylock (though I will argue that Al Pacino makes a simpy gobsmacking everything).
