As you can see, I agreed to do the foreword. Soon after, I recieved my Fed Ex package with chapters from the book and a casette tape with selections of music by some of the female artists. I then went ahead and started reading what the girls had to say for themselves. Each life so different and similar and intriguing. And me obliged by experience to read on and into their stories and revelations and struggles. Fascinated and disgusted by similarities I've overlooked or overcome in my own stupid struggle. Don't struggle.
Ride on, rock bitches, ride on rock. I can't be responsible for this, can I? I mean I took some bits out and put some back in and maybe I didn't work hard enough . . . but I did. And so we go round to ride on rock bitches, give it back, take it out, need it some more and press on. The beautiful twins. The matching fats that suckle desire. Those two sisters who make you lose your concentration and then chase the chaser. Perpetual motion, the alchemical dream machine. And the physicist's proof - the event of the universe. Ride on rock.
My intro. My my. Here they come, the wet ones, the pools and swampls and warm currents of insistence - cold currents of existence. Surf's up. Tide is high. Out at night for your insight. Shake your tambourine. Shake your moneymaker. Shake it, baby, shake it. I like listening to and seeing live bands and going to the movies. Other than that, it's my business what I do with my time life. Let's keep some bits mystery in our souls. Men are not women. Viva la Diva. All that image studd becomes marketing as soon as you sign a deal. You are in showbiz; live with it or fight it, it's just not gonna go away. Once you accent a few fundamentals, you're home free. Enjoy the biz.
