Anyway, I was pissing around on wikipedia today (re-)learning about the differences between GA and RP (not for uni, just b/c I was bored and trying to avoid syntax, as much as I do love it) and also reading about words in American English that are not in British English and vice versa.
And I came across "the dog's bollocks" which is clearly a tremendous phrase and I use it (or alternatively "the dog's baws") a lot.
But I discovered today that some people, in an effort to be less vulgar I guess, will instead say
"the mutt's nuts".
And I think that just made my year.
