I'm sorry if I'm being redundant or whatever, but I was wondering if there is a thread where people post their poetry for comment, etc.?

I am sure there are poets here...where are all the poets???

i'm sure we've had one before, but you could use this one.

i write poetry. i'm taking a poetry class right now for the credit and though about posting the three i just did for an assignment, but i'm not sure i'm confident enough to post my stuff on KR.

AUDIO TAPES

Chemistry residue of polaroid memories....

& I walk past
Sending tornadoes and blackouts.
Stardust flitting through a smile
Coloring the blacks & whites.

Strangers with names.
An adrenaline rush between the caffeine kicks,
Even blue skies burn sometimes.

& we might as well replace ourselves
With portraits and audio tapes,
Emotion mind and a Half-Smile.

When you went, there were eclipses,
Storms, and a thousand other raindrops.

But in your world, I guess it was just sunshine.

Thank you.....though I'm perfectly ok with being told my stuff sucks. Just as long as I am given an intelligent reason why....

I have lots more...I RARELY share my poetry, so I'll have to think about it...
