Other characters, like Aglaya and her mother, really annoyed me though.
I liked the book, but it wasn't my favorite by him - the plot had some real low points, and as i mentioned earlier, a lot of the characters annoyed me and dragged the story down on various portions. I'd still recommend it, since it had a lot of worthwhile moments. |

| | | I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove The Master and Margharita. I can't rave about it enough, and I am a serious book cynic. I have read thousands and spurned about 95% of them. But I really, really enjoyed that book. I found the start a bit slow and the end a little frustrating, but it was so breathtakingly original, it made up for it. |

| | | For those who love Master and Margarita: Russian TV did the series based on the book. I always thought it would be extremely difficult to make it into a movie or a play, so you may be interested to have a look at their interpretation. I'd say it was so-so. Not terribly bad.
From left to right: Margarita, Master, Woland (always imagined him to be younger and with black hair, Yeshua (hate that actor! His Yeshua is rubbish) You can watch some videos here. |

but i love notes from the underground, dr zhivago,
the foremost reason i'm learning other languages is because, in my opinion, alot of the intention gets lost in translation. |

None of this Hollywood sanitisation crap. |
