Singer says his 'dream is coming true'

Ryan Adams is going to become a published author.

The singer, who is currently on tour in America with Oasis, has revealed on the that the book will be named 'Infinity Blues' and will be published by Akashic books - an independent publisher based in New York.

Ryan Adams announced his plans to release the book on his blog, although no further details, including release date or whether the book will be fiction or non-fiction, have been released yet.

Adams wrote: "Wow… I guess this dream is coming true… my grandparents, who taught me to write, and type and dream, I am so proud of all your hard work today, even if this is a long long sad book but some funny too, just like those black and white movies in the heat of the eastern seaboard- rolling through the windows of our home…"

He added: "I am so humbled and so PROUD to be an AKASHIC BOOKS author."

hmmm.... i wonder if it's worth getting.... i love his music, but i'm wondering if this will be worthy of my well-earned $15.00 (or however much)

I don't feel like reading another rock 'n roll sob story. Hopefully he'll come up with something more original

he has made it out to sound like a book of poems and maybe some short stories- he is also working on a novel that he says will be comical
