Arrow the part where i try to read stephen king books again

cause i saw a youtube of him singing at the john cougar concert, and it reminded me to.

which version of the stand should i read? the 70's one or the 90's one?

the 90's one sounds stupider.

i think i will read the 1978 one.

even tho it is like $10.

bc for one thing.

that man talks it out too much as it is. I GET YR POINT WITHOUT THE HAPRING AND HARPING AND MORE STUFF THAT HAPPENS TO PROVE IT SOME MORE. OKAY?

and for another thing.

i bet it is just more quaint.

the wikipedias says some pop culture references got changed for the 1990 one.

and well. no.

It says : The last battle - for the first time complete. It's the cover of the German translation. I have that issue and it's the 90s one, though.

so now i am good.

that one w/ the german talking looks so 80's tho. it's so cuteness.

90s stand is better than the original. but they're both fine. if you've never read it at all, you're not going to miss anything.

could you post that youtube video?

that man has the thickest maine accent ive ever heard, i gotta hear his 'singing voice'. ill probably regret it.

ill most definitely regret it.

but no mind.

& yea it doesnt really matter which version you read.

theres not much difference at alll, from what i heard.
but im not about to read them BOTH to find out though.
maybe if it wasnt 1000 pages long.

there were something like 400 pages cut when it was originally released. the 90s release just adds all that back in. it's basically character development, and and added scene to the ending.

so yeah, if you only intend to read it once, i'd read the unedited but it doesn't matter. you won't miss any of the story.

he changed the dates when it was re-released and that's the only drawback. some of the things just don't work when you stick them in the 90s.

well you can't actually hear him singin'.

cause you can't hear ANY of the backup singing.

but i like how he just randomly shows up and jams on a random song.

ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

which reminds me.

i was reading some reviews on different sites. of the stand. to try to figure out which one i should bother reading.

and then on amazon.com.uk, this guy was having a tizz bc the book is about 99.9% of the earth's population getting wiped out, but all the focus and fretting and action is where? 'Merica!!

damn right.

so i like this book already.

also ppl were bitching that it has a shitty ending.

well, yes, i would imagine so. stephen king wrote it.

someone said tom cruise is mentioned in the 90's one.

does someone see tom cruise laying dead in the street or sthng? cause that might be a sad lulz to miss.

watch the miniseries and read bag of bones. if you have a really over active imagination, it's pretty scary.

you know. stephen king is pretty fucked up. someone should probably montior him.

the miniseries is okay but i think you'll probably only like it if you've read the book.

clotty you should've searched out the tacky 90s paperback with sinise and molly ringwald on the cover.

i love the miniseries so much. i have it on VHS.

gary sinise, yes. and rob lowe is deaf. and molly ringwald is in it. and the hooker from pretty woman who is the real hooker and not julia roberts. and her hair goes grey by the end. and they have a great trash can man. "A Fire.......... a Biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig fire."
