i also loved this book when i was little:



but this book, omg. i think it was my absolute favourite.



the pictures inside are soooo fucking funny. i wonder if i can find some.

I remember 'Rikk-Tikki-Tavi', soooooooooooo many Dr. Seuss stories. Alice in Wonderland was special to me as kid because I got it for easter...

ah! that's so true! i never realised that before. omg must find more pics of kids books lol. did you guys have this book called Doctor Dog? it was soooooooooo gross, it was about this family who were all sick because of their disgusting habits, like there was a baby or little boy or something who would scratch his arse and he got worms? ew it was so gross but we all loved it lol.

Babette Cole books were good, but I was super-addicted to Munsch's The Paper Bag Princess. I just converted my mate Glen's daughter to it. Yay me.

My sister and I had these awesome hardcover fully illustrated (full colour on every page, with a sort of pale bit for the writing) books about The Faraway Tree and the Wishing Chair. I think there were five in total, and they were wonderful, and I need to find them so I can give them to my niece. Blyton's best work, I think.
