I get pretty frustrated writing with pen and paper. I change things constantly, so I prefer computer.

I always write ideas on paper. When i'm having a good day lots will splurge out of me and i'll write lists or points i want to include in my book. Then i will type the actual story out on computer - because its easier to edit.

i write a few sentences with pen and paper, then i expand on these brief scribbles on the computer. i'm a lot more focused when i'm sitting at the computer than i am when i've got a pen and a notebook. i'm more likely to finish what i began if i'm typing, and my ideas themselves become much clearer, more precise, whereas if i'm just sitting writing i'd end up drawing a picture of a house or something.
