I prefer Head On, but I like Repossessed a lot too. I mean, there's no Teardrop, obviously, but it's still cool. I like him. He made me want to do acid, though because I'm so square-like, I'd never do it unless I found somewhere it was legal. Any suggestions?

Of these, I've read 'Heavier..', I'm putting the others on my list.
The last two bios I've read are the Motley Crue auto-bio and I'm half through the the Warren Zevon bio.

| | | oh and if anyone's interested in Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon by John Harris is a good read. it's a bio of the album, pretty much.
and Please Kill Me by Gillian McCain & Legs McNeil is essentially a bio of the punk movement.
anything by Pamela des Barres is good too but pretty much everyone on kr has read her books i think so this is hardly a new/rare suggestion. |

| | | I really enjoyed Marianne Faithfulls autobiography. A lot of stories about London in the 60's including the Stones and Beatles, her affairs and her struggle with the drugs and herself as a person.
And I liked the Ian Curtis biography written by Deborah curtis, his wife: Touching from a distance. Read it in just one night. Gives you a clue who he really was and takes away some of the myth because he was a fantastic writer but also a person who was unable to deal with the difficulties of his illness |
