| | | kerouac is fuckin horrible.
he's a wanna-be, pretencious, long-winded motherfucker without any talent.
he's just famous cause people think it's cool to be into kerouac.
his works are so fuckin fake and ungenuine they reek.
read some ginsberg instead. |

YES, Tristessa is great.
Try reading this one first...its very short. A novella, I guess.

| | | he's amazing. he's inspired me so much in the last 10 years, i wouldnt know what to do without him. but then again, his book Big Sur is crap. he's up and down i think.
but On The Road and Dharma Bums are my two favorites of his.
i love reading him because it's like reading about the drunk version of American History.
Ginsberg is great, too. He's been doing good work for a long time. Kerouac sort of burned out pretty early on.
Clinquant, that hurt. |

in case you weren't somehow aware, we're all entitled to a fuckin opinion, and i was voicing my own.
i don't happen to like this "narrative prose".
by the way, what makes the argument tired, anyway?
heard it a lot before? wonder why that would be...
blow me. |

| | | yo relax. you came and bashed the fuck out of Kerouac with your opinion.
and she decided to bash your opinion, just a little bit. her opinion is that your opinion is silly. that's fair right?
calm down.
i was really curious too, to know why you think kerouac is so pretentious and/or fake? |
