Terry McMillan books...

are they any good? didn't she write how stella got her groove back or something?

i never read it but i saw the movie and it was okay. i saw her and her ex-boy toy on oprah and they were both insane!

i got roped into reading her book 'the interruption of everything' by some book club at my work and the first two pages consist of babbling about menopause. i don't know if i should just feign illiteracy or pretend i didn't have enough time to read it in time for the meeting...

or will it get better?

Uberchicklit. I tried to read How Stella... to see if it was as hilariously bad as the movie. It wasn't, but I thought it was nigh on unreadable.

I also couldn't finish How Stella Got Her Groove Back but if you'd probs enjoy it if you're into Oprah and the whole menopause-chic thing

Nick some information off the interwebs. You'll get by. I doubt that anyone other than a total prat could actually manage serious discourse about HSGHGB (!), so you'll muddle through. Watch the film, it's a right laugh.
