"This is the revenge of an unlived life"

It's a quote from Fifth Business and I'm supposed to respond with a piece but its fairly uninspiring. I've been pretty good at just writing a story I want to write and then pretending I was inspired by the quote we're given, but its just not working for this one.

Any ideas on what I should write about?

I had a nice, short sweet piece on a young lesbian couple but then I remembered my English teacher is pretty hardcore Catholic and figured I'd hand that in for a different class I've got to write something for - should I suck it up and just give it to him? It's only worth 5 marks or something.

EDIT: Nevermind, I did something I like better.

I just made the pronouns ambiguous and handed that in. Most people who read it got the impression that it was two girls anyways, and I wound up getting pretty good on it.
