| | | Comics!!! Anyone? I don't know if it is really a comic, but I recently picked up Bizenghast 1 and it is really good so far. Our local comic book fave keeps a list of what we want so we can just go in and buy if we are too busy to look around. The boy loves Conan most, but we have boxes and boxes.
Who do you like? |

| | | I just read Black Hole by charles burns (i think, it's him)
oh fuck is that a creepy, bleak, depressing piece of work.
I'm too careless for comics though, I only buy them once they've come out all together in a big book.

The high prices prevent me from getting my dosage of nerdiness. |

The high prices prevent me from getting my dosage of nerdiness. | Thats why I only get the panini reprints or collected paper backs. |

| | | i collect birds of prey, runaways, im gettign bored of the x-men stuff now.
i think either nextwave or kabuki are my fave marvel stuff. the she-hulk comics can be funny. also loving joss wheden's astonishing x-men, theres something very appealing seeing emma comotize cyclops (sorry any cyclops fans) is comotize a word?
lenore is awesome i just love that cute lil dead girl.
i usually pick up stuff with poison ivy or harley quinn in. i pick up some of the panini reprints too, but i like the older reprints cause ive read all the new stuff.

| | | Usagi Yojimbo, but you kinda have to read the graphic novels to truly get a feel for it.
Scud: The Disposable Assassin was an excellent book, but could be hard to find today. Had a cliffhanger ending that was never completed. Rob Schrab went on to create the concept for the new movie "Monster House."
Next month's main X-men books start with all new writers and artists, so I think I might get into them again. |
