its classic cliched vampire fiction. theres even a bit where she sees herself in the mirror as an old lady & hes behind her all you-cant-see-me-in-the-mirror-im-a-vampire-&-im-still-eternally-youthful. i do love them though.

she's got a new book released this week (in the UK, probably released a while back in the US) called 'the host'. i read the proof a while back. its all about parasite aliens that take over human bodies & the little human community that resists. its a hefty tome but pretty good.

so, being an avid ontd reader, i had to read twilight just to see what all the fuss was about... honestly, it's so badly written i felt embarrassed reading it [the kind of furtive i-feel-like-i'm-reading-a-fanfic kind of embarrassment] but i really couldn't put it down. the plot is so juvenile but somehow it really draws you in
i do like her characters, and her descriptions
