| | | Tucker Max I started Tucker Max's "I Hope they serve beer in hell", hoping it would be funny, perhaps nearly as funny as David Sedaris. It turned out to be the biggest waste of time !!
I read the first story, half of the second story, and then just skipped around looking for something that might be entertaining. It simply wasn't.
I don't like this book at all but it came very highly recommended.
What are your thoughts on him?

| | | too bad he's totally dreamy. i saw him on MSNBC being interviewed, and he certainly has that whole 'i'm getting in your pants' thing down. he has a little southern accent, and is incredibly charming and sharp.
i think he's alot more intelligent than he seems. he hit a niche in the market of people who don't read, because nothing is being sold to them. he's clever for that. and futhermore, i think his stories are exaggerations of real events, or imaginative re-tellings of things he saw/may have participated in. He's also self made, and manages to make considerable amounts of money by doing nothing but going out drinking, writing a blog, and selling ads on his website.
i think he's more businessman than playboy. |

| | | My friend lent it to me and I've not read it yet because I can't be arsed. I've read some stuff online that is supposedly shocking and funny, but I could be less shocked seeing the Pope tapdance on my grandmother's grave.
