who as a young girl was an accomplice in a murder along with a friend?
I remember reading about this several years ago and can't recall the name of the author. The two girls were caught, convicted and held until adults. This one girl, as an adult, went on to write and had books published. I thought maybe it happened in England or Canada, but heck, it may have been in northern America. Somehow the story of her past was leaked....
