yes i am that sad that i can spend hours dicussing this. i think that he is good, i know some of you will be saying that he killed dumbledore but i think that snape knew he was going to die so killed him to keep up his cover.
i also think that harry is an horcrux! dumbledor tells harry that voldremort put something of himself into harry (no dirty jokes, this is a childrens book!).
what do you think?

While I'm not as in depth to this phenomenon as you (what the hell is a horcrux??), I do think Snape will be a good guy. It made me sad to know he killed Dumbledore, but I got a feeling from Snape that he was a bit more noble than the Slytherin.

ummm i suck at explaining but i'll try.

dumbledore had the theorie that the reason voldemort survived was because he had been able to split his soul (which can only be done by comitting a really terrible murder. and of course you have to be a very evil wizard)
he had managed to split his sould into seven parts and stored these parts in so called horcruxes. a horcrux can be anything. a thing, an animal, a person.

voldermort put parts of himself in horcruxes (one was the diary in chamber of secrets) harry has to find these and break them so that voldermort can never return.
i think that both harry and voldermort will die at the end, i also think that there will be a big revelation about crookshanks (hermiones cat).
i am glad that the final chapter of the book will be about what happens to the surviving characters. will hermionee and ron get married (will they both survive) and will neville become a hero?
i am desperate to know the significance of harry having his mothers eyes.

the theory was that RAB was sirius' borther, the one that is a death eater. his name starts with r if i remember correctly. and the last name is black obv.
