this book is fucking amazing. recalcitrant lent it to me and im in love. the movie is to be released on may 25th and judging by the trailer, it looks exactly how i imagined

anyone else read it? what did you think? just another junkie story or something else?

I enjoyed it, it is sort of like Trainspotting (the book) in that, even though it sounds bizarre, it makes heroin addiction funny, and touching and moving...it's very well written, I LOVE their relationship.

I definately wouldn't write it off as just another junkie story. Reading it was almost a trauma in itself, the way different emotions are conveyed - one minute I was chuckling to myself (on public transport how cool am i) and the next, wanting to cry for them.

I would definately recommend it
