If You Meet the Buddha on the Road, Kill Him!The Pilgrimage of Psychotherapy Patients

Has anyone ever read this book? Is it any good?

(Someone gave it to me years ago, and I never read it because the title is bizarre. I had forgotten I even have it until I was going through some of my things.)

i haven't read the book but the title is a buddhist koan. i think the interpretation is meant to be about ego and humility, how if you see yourself as an enlightened being you need to squash it out and remain humble.

Thanks. I often find that a lot of these self-help books are just common sense.

My crazy cousin gave it to me when I was 12, I don't know why she would have thought I'd be interested in reading it. I'll post more if I give it a read, but most likely I'll probably just donate it to the library.
