Chapter Two
One night I met this fat blob of shit named Hank. He asked if he could fuck my hot gash, but I found him physically repulsive. So we compromised and decided he could fuck me, but only in the ass. Since my Catholic believes forbid birth control, this would prevent prenancy. Or so I thought. Some of Hank's hot love juice dripped out of my asshole and into my cunt. Nine months later my daughter was born. Now it was only a matter of choosing the stupidest hippyest name possible.
Chapter Three
Motherhood got old fast and soon my old man Hank had fucked off too. I quickly learned that if I put little Love Michelle Garcia whatever the fuck her name was in her crib with some gas soaked stuffed animals, the fumes would do all the work for me and I was free to lick the smegma off the cocks of hot mulattos in encounter sessions. Who says raising kids is hard work?
Chapter Four
There comes a time in every woman's life where she wants to find a husband or four, have a bunch of kids and settle down.
But much like my parent's had destroyed my childhood, Courtney was wreaking havoc on my dreams of domestic bliss.
Here's a journal entry from that period. I think it speaks volumes.
March 5, 1967
Last night I was itching to get my pussy tapped. Courtney kept crying, and my latest husband whose name has slipped my mind was all like "maybe you should check on her" but I was all like "fuck that little cockblocker bitch".
Her crib is going out in the barn with the sheep. That way when she cries, I can just pass it off as the wind. She should be grateful she didn't grow up with my parents. What with their rules and supervision.
Chapter Five
I'm not writing this book to cash in on my daughter's celebrity. It's my legacy to my granddaughter. I want her to know that even though I'm a jowly old bitch now, I got a lot of dick back in the day. Hi sweetie. Gramma loves you. | | That was a great post, Cletus.
Seriously, if any of you want to read it, keep in mind that it's all about Linda. She kind of drove me nuts when I was reading it. She is extremely self-absorbed, never listened to her instincts, her first child was a handful from the get-go and what does she do? Keep having kids (I think in all it was six more? Correct me if I'm wrong).
You know, I actually did enjoy reading about her childhood and friendship with Judy and her experiences in the early 60's. But when the story got to her and Frank getting divorced and her adopting that boy and then the family(minus Frank) moving to New Zealand, I really began to lose my patience.
Did anyone else get really fuckin pissed how flaky she was about adopting that boy (Did it really not occur to her that a multiracial boy a few years old already being adopted into an all white and all female-sibling family would need a lot of extra reassurance and attention?! Seriously, she let that adoption guy talk her into adopting the boy- grow a spine, lady!) and then how she basically gave him away to another family three years later? WTF?!
And after all that, she's still obsessed with herself and "not knowing who she is" and wanting to move the kids yet again...
But yeah, a few things in there about Courtney were really funny! Courtney WAS mean to her! The time when she told Wendy while looking through Kurt's babybooks that her own mother never did that for her, made me laugh so hard. I felt bad about laughing, but that was just so fucked-up that it was funny. Read the book and you'll know why.
Courtney as a child really fascinates me, so I enjoyed the stuff about her. I was a little disappointed that Linda didn't talk about Frank a whole lot (especially after the part where they got divorced and she took off to New Zealand with some guy) cause Frank was really great with Courtney, was he not?
Anyway, that's my two cents. |

| | | Yeah Linda is pretty self-absorbed. And with each marriage and each child she gives birth to, she understands something more and more. Like oh! I wasn't right the last time but this time it's right! And then she gets divorced and literally a couple of months later she's seeing "the light" in another guy and she marries him and it does it again. |

| | | i bought it second hand because i was just really curious to hear linda's side of the story. i started out just skipping to the parts about courtney, but then i went back and read the whole thing.
i can understand that she was alittle messed up with her childhood but she didn't seem to have time at all for courtney, almost as if it was all courtney's fault for her own behaviour.she didn't seem to really realise how her actions were affecting her kids.
i'm probubbly being biased because i am a courtneytard, but i really don't think linda came off in the best light, she seemed ver selfish and self-absorbed |

| | | i finished it last night and actually liked it. God i cant believe how uncontrollable Courtney was, but Linda was way too easy on her. But yeah i felt bad for her, losing her adoptive parent, best friend, and son. and i guess son in law. but overall i liked it. its making me look forward to courtneys book in october, just to see her side and how she felt about everything. |

| | | she never really said anything good or optimistic about courtney. just only named the negative things, and blamed courtney a lot. she really never took responsiblility for her actions and just blamed the "first born daughter" curse. maybe if she didnt just give up on her daughter and ship her around the world and abandon her they might have had a better relationship. sure courtney had behavioral problems, but linda was a super shitty mother, so im not suprised she doesnt respect linda. it felt like she was always blaming someone else or attacking other people in the book, and i didnt really like it. |

| | | 3/4 into the book and im completely sick of linda, something about her just really annoys me and i cant quite pinpoint why yet.
im getting serious implication vibes from linda about hank possibly molesting or drugging coco. really twisted.
reading for the courtney as child quotes has been worth it. they are so fabulous and mommy dearest in reverse.

| | I am seriously considering buying this now.
its on my to-read list along with the poppy z.brite book, "Heavier Than Heaven" (kurts bio) and that melinda rossi (is that the name??) courtney bio...and then kurt's journals and then I shall feel complete.
ooh and I can't wait til courtney's diaries come out. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
