Okay, I'm taking AP language and Composition-- and I'm having such a hard time evaluating the "language." Instead-- half the time I end up evaluating the Literature. The thing is that my AP Language and Composition teacher talks about Journalism and current events... And he doesn't explain how we're supposed to use langauge to evaluate the text through Language.


Can anyone give me explames on who one can use diction, syntax, etc. to evaluate a piece of literature?

And, sentence structure supposedly also plays a huge part in evaluating Language. How!?
