| | | augusten burroughs. i know im a little behind because he was really hip about a year or two ago. i just read magical thinking and now i want to read "running with scissors." he's a bit cocky and arrogant even in his self deprication, but i still like him. he relies too much on his vanity being a flaw at least in his most recent book.
he has a new book coming out next month called "possible side effects."
and is "sellevision" worth reading? |

| | | His life is fucking fascinating, I love him. It's probably best to read his books in order, so read Running With Scissors before you read Dry.
Sellevision is worth reading for sure, but I find his memoirs more fascinating and absorbing. He's brilliant. Thanks for telling me he has a new book coming out, I'm so glad. |

| | | his new book isnt quite out. i bought running with scissors today. i couldnt decide between that and "haunted" by palahniuk. i almost bought dry too, but im going to try ebay. its just that running with scissors is so popular right now that to buy it used would be almost as much as new. must be the movie coming out later this year. gwyneth paltrow is in it? |

That's awesome, I had no idea. I hate Gwenyth Paltrow but I'd see it anyway. |

| | i've only read running with scissors, last year or so. i liked it though, some parts of it made me really laugh..i dont know why but i remember in one part him saying he wanted to get his hair all smooth.. like plastic, and i found that really hilarious..
