| | | Grammar Question I'm too lazy to figure this out myself, and I'm hoping someone here can help.
Let's say I am currently very sad and resting in my bed. Which would be the correct sentence:
- "I lie in bed very sad."
- "I lay in bed very sad."
I'm trying to create this in the present. It would be similar to saying "I drink coffee while I'm in bed."

| | lie (v.): To be or place oneself at rest in a flat, horizontal, or recumbent position; recline.
lay (v.): To cause to lie down//to place in or bring to a particular position.
