| | | Thunder and lightning...why today?
I love a thunder storm, I really think they are amazing. I remember I was in Venice a year or so ago and saw the most fantastic thunderstorm. It was really quite beautiful. Light rain, fork and sheet lightning and all reflected over the water. It was amazing watching it on a bridge there.
HOWEVER, when it comes to Newport it's hardly as fantastical. Middle of the day, overcast shitty gray sky and it HAD to happen on the day I was going to move all my stuff out. It's HAMMERING down with rain and all my stuff is going to get soaked no matter how many towels I wrap over the top. What a pain in the arse.
What fun moving out stories do you have? I suppose that's what this thread is about now. Either that, or what good thunder storms have you seen? Might as well post pictures if you've been lucky enough to snap it. |

we're only going saturday. I'm too high maintenance to do a campout festival thing. Total anxiety attack over the very prospect. |

I don't like campout festivals much either, I like going home to a place I can shower & relax & sleep in a nice bed, & not worry about my tent. |
