I need some help in finding some houseing...My paretns are kicking me out by the 31st and I'm stuck...I've called several places for houseing ie. group homes, half-way houses, etc. many of them are ither full, or they don't take people who self-injure...I've spoken to many peopl e that I know who are friends, people from church, etc. and they arn't willing to take me in because of my self-injury, I've called Liberty in Lynchburg, VA and they won't take me back because they need written proof that I'm ready to come back, my doctors won't write that letter that I need in order to go back...So I'm not left with many choices...I don't want to live in some slum somewhere...I also don't want to burden anyone...No one seems to be willing to take in someone who self-injures...What I'm asking is some help if anyone is in the area, or sourending Hampton Roads area, if they'd be willing to give me a place to stay tempararly, while I try to sort things out...I'm working on getting a job, at this point in time my job counsler thinks that I don't have any work ethic, so she won't help me anymore...On monday I'll be going out to look at some apartments and see if they've got slideing-scale rent, or take people with low income...In the meantime, things at home are hell...Mom and dad have a little "confrentation" with me every day, and its starting to wear on me emotionally...I'm drained...I need someone who'd be willing to put me up...I'd pay 400 a month if need be just to stay away from my parents...thats all I can aford for the time being...This morning my parents sat down and spoke with me about the things that I'm doing that are "wrong" in there opinion...One of them was the music that I listen to, wirte, and play on my gutiar...They now want to look at ever single song that I play on my guitar and read the words so that they can deside if it is approate to sing in the house or not, as they feel that depressing music is "of the devil" and from the "pit of hell"...I wrote a new song today, elliott related, and was playing it in my room, mom then proceeded to barge in my room and throw my guitar acorss the room breaking one of the strings...then she grabbed me by my shirt and told me not to play that "satanic music" ever again...I was left to cry by myself, and did cut myself again...I don't understand why all of this is being heaped upon me...But the fact reamains that it is, and I need some way out, ie. someone who'd be willing to take me in temparally just so that I can get out of this environment...ASAP!!!...this is the only post I'll make, and I"ll probally be banned again, but if you'd like to contact me you can do so via aim my user name is Hannah Capps...My email is hannahjoycapps@gmail.com...just email me for my phone and address...thanks again...

I'd be a little concerned if my self harming daughter played songs about "being better off dead" and drawing skinny, withering, bleeding girls on paper. Why not ask your parents what you can do to make them happy, and try your hardest to do as they wish. They only care about your well-being, and obviously your lifestyle doesn't work for ANYONE. You need to grow up.

I agree with kellygirl. You need to stop being a baby and fend for yourself. Born alone, die alone. Don't keep yourself in this position where oyu have to depend on other people. Go out and get a job, pay for your rent and your food. Not to be mean, but I am convinced that you will eat less once you have to pay for your own groceries.

it's independent.

the closest thing to independence is independence enough for me. and it feels good... knowing you're paying for everything yourself. at the same time it sucks as i've basically stopped living just so i can pay for necessities. oh well.

i think good teachers are essential. i didn't have very good teachers growing up, living in a small crappy town, and i had VERY LITTLE preparation for the future. i think i would be a benefit for society if i became a teacher. i'd be the type to build confidence.
(i'm focusing more on the kindergarten ages)

I've re-applied online to liberty university, to see if I can't get into school this fall. I'll look into finding an apartment there. I'm hopeing this works. My partents arn't going to help me pay for anything. So yea.
