Yuck, the heat

It has turned my hair into a giant fro. I really need to give it a good straighten, but I just can't stand the idea of having something that hot next to me. So my hair looks like ass. It's not like I can really peel myself off of anything to go anywhere where anyone might laugh and point at my hair.

I'm about to make a tent in front of the open fridge.

Bitch about the heat, your hair, stuff that's melting, whatever. Go.

My hair looks and feels like cottonwool, I HATE it. It's gets so sticky and yucky when it's hot and, believe me, it's really really hot over here now. And I fucking hate mosquitos, they bit my face twice and I look like I have the plague.

Mine is the same. It's not even curly, just has a bit of wave, but when it's hot/humid each individual piece just gets really kinky and it ends up being a frizzy ball of fro. I finally put it up to get it out of my way. So now if I can just get up, I am going somewhere air conditioned.

Jo, that sounds horrible. I don't envy you. I am so glad my new place is going to have air conditioning so that I will at least be able to paint in peace. I'm thinking of staining or painting my cubes. If they will hold a stain I would like to do a mahogony colour. Otherwise I think I might paint them black with white around the trim/edge of the open sides. Does that make any sense? Do you think that would be hot?

what is considered hot in europe?
i cant imagine it being as bad as it gets here in the summer. it gets over 100 every day and coupled with the humidity it makes you feel like youre being suffocated.
needless to say i hardly ever go outside in the summer unless i have to.
