Injecting HIM with it, however (or usually, him regularly injecting himself with it) keeps him alive.

No, it was a drunken dare. Jeez, why would he dare people to do something that could kill him? He was seeing if I was so scared of needles that I wouldn't dare do it, does curiosity trump fear etc.

friday evening: had a few friends over for drinks as we still had a shedload of alcohol left over from a big party the other week.
saturday: did some office work for my mum in the morning, had lunch with her and my stepdad, went for a run, went to my friend's house for a couple of hours to help her with her CV, then spent the evening eating chinese and watching cold feet. which has made me want to download lots of late 90s music.
sunday: food shopping, lots of tv, and i cooked mustard chicken and potato dauphinoise in the evening. which tasted amazing and may be the most grown up thing i have ever cooked.
