they are pretty lame, huh?

i went to one a few years ago, my only one ever. and i only went w/ my indian-american roomie because he had never been. and he claimed india does not have such festivals.

anyway, it was predictably stupid. we didn't go to the porn parade. and the "festival" was just local businesses selling bumper stickers with a rainbow slapped over their normal logo.

the only redeeming factor this year, is that i hear sharon needles will be at the portland pride festival. i guess she's really hipster, so maybe i'll go.

one year in south dakota. there was pride. and a whopping 58 people showed up for volleyball and hot dogs in the park. i didn't go. but folks traveled from all over the state. 58 of 'em.

one time me & tigz went to reno pride.

it was a lot of years ago before being gay was trending.

so we were the only two ****s there and we ate lube out of those little tubes for awhile.

then i think we watched a crackhead do a dragshow or sthng.

i'd go to little house on the prairie pride w/ you aaron.

we could get rainbow colored snow cones!

i used to go but it's not my scene anymore.

I've been to London Pride but only as a volunteer steward. Tel Aviv Pride was the best.

I used to, but haven't in some years. I was at Stonewall 25. Which was so long ago that probably only I remember what a big deal it was.
