have been obessed with The View ever since DH got me Tivo for Christmas and has been watching it religiously, in the past I couldnt watch it too much. Anyway I started watching waaaaay before all the shakeups that went down with Meridith leaving and Star Jones highly publized surprise exit this week. As much as I dont like Star and Elisebeths righty politics and religious stance I still liked her and love the way she went from plump to pin thin and into a total glamour girl. Tabloid rumours are that Oprahs lesbian gal pal Gayle King will take over. It should be called Lez Day Live since two lesbians will be on if Gayle goes for it. Psyched to see Rosie coming, she will sure stir the pot and hopefully go for Elisabeths jugular for saying all her religousy right wing stuff that is fed thru her earpiece. Now that Star is gone Im find Im totally turned on by Joy Behar. She is the best! She really gives her audience a smile every day. God I love The View, have for years but still saddened by all the shakeups going on there.
Starting Over is in repeats so DH and I watch Cheaters in same timeslot on our lunch break at noon until Starting over has a new set of gals in. Cheaters is such a great show, true reality TV and the people who get themselves into that situation deserve to get found out so its a win win situation. I looove the music for that show and the narrator. I especially like the music during the initial interview (the slow music) and the regular theme music. My favorite theme songs on TV right now are: The View, Cheaters, Dr Phil and Ellen. What are yours?
Anyway we went to the marin County fair Friday at famed frank Lyodd Wright designed grounds and DH and I let loose on the people at the Reblican booth. They should have known better then to try to hand a handout to a gay couple. There was nothing on there walkway but them wedged between one of the palm reading booths and the Mary kaye booth and then only one other booth ( one next to them was empty, probably backed out knowing they would be next to the republicans). Anyway I leashed a rage a fury and said "Why are you handing me this?" Held up my wedding ring and said " You ruined our marraige by vetoing it and now we will have to get married again! You guys are running up a deficit higher then anyone before, have blood on your hands from all the dead people you sent off to the war, and are totally ruining the envirmoment! You have blood on your hands and dont know how you can sleep at night!" DH chided in "We will win next time with your trumped up war and eavesdropping" Im not sure what else he said, They were two men and a woman about DH's age we have a 2o year age difference and have been together 8 years he was born in 49 and me in 69. Of course they did not have a leg to stand on and didnt really have any answers to my questions. One guy said to DH "Oh yeah we will too win next time!!!" They sounded so hateful, although we were at there booth for only about two minutes. The lady shooed us with her hands and said " You have voiced your opinion now you can move on" I said "Yeah you better move on too and get to church" One of them said " I will" then I said "Just you wait, as soon as Rosie is on The View in the fall the whole world is going to change and we WILL get our rights as not be treated like thrid class citizens like your admistrations policies are doing to the Mexicans who pick our food. Your party treats them like modern day slaves and keep using us gays as a dividing point. We will get our rights!" And stormed off. So funnny that the first time we saw there booth from a distance there was no one there and then same thing later on. Im so happy there was an abadoned booth next to them and only a fortune teller and a Mary Kay cosmetcis booth next to them. There werent people flocking to the Republican booth thats for sure. Anyway I patted DH on the back when we left the Marin County fair for putting in his two cents worth too. He said why did I react the way I did ( I wasnt hostile just wanted some answers for a few basic questions they didnt have answers too) I told DH that becuase they tried to push a repubilcan phamplet on me and I had a bad week with Star Jones abruptly leaving (even though she has same politics as the GOP). DH said he was having a great time at the fair until he saw that booth and almost had to take him to first aid and then would sue the hell out of that party. he (and I) haaaates Republicans and most Christian or Bible based groups. We basically believe in Science and none of that religious mumbo jumbo.

Was watching ET Canada this morning with Roz Weston and glamourdiva Meriah Carey going on about her new amazing summer tour that isexpectedto top off in the millions and will bring her many new fans who might have left her after glitter which wasn't really so badalso about her diet and how she manages to look so fabulouswhy her legs are in fact insured for billions of dollars?!? then on ET (just regular type not canadian) ken bakker of reputable us magazine revealed that TomKat's wedding may be later this summer when the beautiful blushing bride will have slimmed down from the beautiful scientologybaby she is carrying! THe brangelinababy is still being pursuaded by the parparazzi littlefury spent 2 hours before dawn climbing into what appeared to be either a sycamore or alder tree, he was not sure which but it had prickles and ants all over me to take photogrpahs of the beautiful blushing baby and hte securiguard from across the street made me climb down likethose dirty religious republicans, they're lucky that the stupid fortuneteller and Mary Kay cosmetcis were next door because if it had been me i would have taken a photograph like hteh branglina.
