i've been instructed to use my marmite very sparingly at first until i'm used to it, on toast, with lots of butter.
my naughty krampus outfit for my halloween meets the holidays party in 2 hours is pretty half assed. i just really want to dress like i'm on Mad Men. |
Recalcitrant taught me how to eat Vegemite. On toast or an English muffin, butter and a very, very thin layer of Vegemite (she called it a scraping). It looks and smells horrible, but I really enjoyed it. I think that it is an acquired taste, but I liked it right off the bat and I am a picky-*** food eater.
The only other goodies that I remember trying over there were the Tim Tams and Violet Crumble. I want to go back to Australia.

I was fascinated with the commercials and billboards.
You can find some Aussie candy and Vegemite at international food markets with a huge mark up tacked on.
