Talk to me about KR rules/policies. I know we don't have many, but there are some things pretty much all of us can agree that definitely cross a line.

If you were a mod - or are - what kind of rules would you make?

I think the rules KR has now are pretty much sufficient.

Another board I post on also has a rule against banned users cir***venting their ban (i.e. any new usernames they make will also get banned for the same period of the original ban) but I also don't think anybody gets permabanned there besides the most appalling characters and spam bots. Bans seem to be anything from 24 hrs to 3 yrs and folks return with their original username once the ban is up.

Just a thought? Since at the moment people are basically free to return any time so long as they keep their heads down and don't pull any further daft **** (like that which was already posted in this thread), but I never really understood why that has ever been allowed to fly, surely folks are either wanted here or they are not (for whatever length of time the ban happens to be?).

I suppose that raises the question of what the purpose of a ban actually is. At the moment it doesn't seem to be much more than a minor inconvenience, so long as folks decide to behave for a while on their next try?

i do think the no threads about a mods decision however is ridiculous and should not be a rule at all.

i would like there to be a banlist so we can see who has been banned, for how long and by who and for what reason
