| | | Child welfare visits Britney's home TRASH http://jam.canoe.ca/Music/2006/04/11/1530438-ap.html

MALIBU, Calif. (AP) - Child welfare officials and a sheriff's deputy visited the home of Britney Spears but declined to say Tuesday whether they were investigating the pop princess.
Spears and her husband, Kevin Federline, are the parents of an infant son, Sean Preston. The Los Angeles department of children and family services (DCFS) and the Lost Hills sheriff's station declined to give details of Saturday afternoon's visit.
"It's a very standard, routine patrol request," Lieut. Debra Glaskides said Tuesday. "We just roll out with them. We stood by, we took no action, no report or anything."
The Sheriff's Department said it was a DCFS matter and couldn't release any information. Glaskides said there may not even be a DCFS investigation, noting it may have been only a welfare check.
Phone and e-mail messages left for Spears's New York publicist, Leslie Sloane Zelnik, weren't immediately returned.
In February, the L.A. department visited Spears's home after publication of photographs showing the 24-year-old singer driving with then four-month-old Sean Preston in her lap, rather than in a car seat as required by law.
Spears later apologized, saying she did it because of a "horrifying, frightful encounter with the paparazzi."
Department director Louise Grasmehr didn't return a phone message left Tuesday at her Los Angeles office. The department routinely refuses to discuss cases, citing confidentiality laws.

| | | On perezhilton there is a story alleging that their kid fell out of his (unbuckled) high chair and sustained a skull fracture over the weekend. I hope this isn't true for the poor kid's sake. I volunteer myself to adopt Sean Preston, he will have two loving parents who aren't idiots. |

| | | i was watching television, i dont know which programme, but there was an ad and it was like; BREAKING NEWS: BRITNEY'S BABY IN DANGER or something stupid like that, and didn't say anything else about other "news" to appear on the show.
i don't give two shits about britney, and i think it's stupid that this is considered important, or relevant "news"
non the less.. britney is sort of a dumbshit anyway. haha, i also doubt her parenting abilities, but like i said, i don't really care...

OMG!!! Britney is too irresponsible to be a parent, dayum,,,,the least she could do is hire a responsible nanny with all her money. Seriously , this girl is not too bright. I thought I read she was pregnant again.
That poor baby. Idiots for parents.
I have a 2 year old and it is very hard work, but under no circumstance would I ever provide care for my child that is less than top notch. I have never had a babysitter, either. I stay at home to do it al myself, after leaving a good job- I was so thrilled to be pregnant and so happy to be able to afford to stay home and be a hands on mom while my husband works. Sure, we made some lifestyle changes to cut down to one income but I do not regret it for a second and I think it's piss poor when people don't take GOOD care of their babies. GRRRRRRRRRRRR.
I don't even have the grandparents helping me out. It's all me. except when my husband gets home from work, he takes an active role as well, and helps out with mealtimes and baths and playing.
Call me an old fuddy duddy. (I'm still barely hanging on to my 20's). But I take my childcare very seriously. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
