So I am freaking out and don't know what to do. Maybe I'm being crazy and paranoid, but I recently moved to NYC with a friend of mine. He and I are sharing a lot of stuff, namely my new digital camera and my credit card.
Long story short, he was assisting at a photoshoot Wednesday night and called me around midnight to ask him to bring him the camera. when i went into Manhattan, him and I and his old friend/maybe new girlfriend went to have some ****tails, where we met this nice visiting Australian man. We all got a little drunk (he and his girl were way drunk) and we went off to drop the man off at his hotel. At that point, girl starts freaking out. So I went up to hang out with the aussie, and they went off somewhere. I get a call from my friend a few hours later on her phone, saying that he was drunk, that she blew up and started smacking him and what room were we in. I asked him to come to the hotel to hang out, and he said he's call me back. That was the last I've heard from him. He hasn't come back to Brooklyn, he has no cell phone, and I cannot get in touch with her. I don't know if she's just not picking up her phone, but I cant get a hold of her. He can be flaky, but I don't think he would take my card and camera and not get in touch with me for 24 hours. I don't know what to do. no one has seen him, he hasn't been back the place he's been staying, and I have no way of contacting him.
any thoughts? should I give it some more time? I'm worried sick.

I am the type to take no chances. I would call the hospitals in area, jails and then morgue. I have done it before and turned up with nothing, and I have done it and ended up finding my boyfriend at the morgue. I was so relieved I located him that for a few seconds I didn't realize that meant he was dead.

i would go ahead and contact the police department and do that.

that what my other issue- I don't know exactly how to go about it. i just call different hospitals/jails and ask if he's been admitted as a patient? I would start with jails, but I am an pretty damn sure that if he was in jail and needed bail, I'd be the first person he'd call.

Yeah, just call those places and ask if hes been admitted. People do this all the time, they will understand that you are trying to find someone who is missing.
