Isn't this entire song just a sample? Why are the guitar and bass players making dramatic guitar-faces in the video? What did they do during live performances? Did they mime the whole thing? Or did they just run around on stage with giant butterfly nets and shoot rainbows from their magic star/dolphin tattoos?

i'm the wrong white person to ask....when that song came out, i thought it was a joke, like satire, ya know? the lyrics were so stupid, i thought it was a white guy who was trying trying to sound black or vice-versa. but no way could they be for real.
