So I was just minding my own biz a little while ago and this group of assholes (all the men had pony tails and the woman looked ****y and they all had clipboards and an air of superiority.)

The manager of this place was leading them around and giving them the spiel re: our apts.

Well they went into the vacant apt. right nextdoor and came out, discussing rent, parking, etc.

Since they were RIGHT in front of my living room window, looking into my home, I went out there and asked if they all were moving in or something.

"Sort of." Said the one with the gray ponytail and fake teeth.

"We'll be filming here all summer." chimed in another dude with a brown ponytail.

"What show?" said me. "DEXTER" replied my manager.

**** **** **** ****!!! they filmed here last summer just for a week or so and it was so ****ty. But this will be worse. Right nextdoor. They film at all hours of the day/night. They are loud, obnoxious, the lighting is the WORST...like floodlights. and they do construction constantly.

and we never even met or saw Michael c. Hall last summer. I better at LEAST get to see him this year.

I so love the show though. But I hope I get SOMETHING out of this.


Oh, and one more thing: My kid (Miss Marley) is moving in with me tonight. We've been apart for exactly one year. We've both worked really hard to get it together, and she's going to a good school here, starting in a month, and I think we can do well this time, but I'm scared just the same. Things got really really bad.

Please cross your fingers for us. Thx.

i bought season one and it was ok, but i dont know...he will forever be david fisher to me so i just cant get over that.

do you get any kind of comp for the inconvenience of them being there? like when there's a big outdoor show near yr house you get free tix etc?

only the slumlord owner of this bldg gets compensated. the rest of us get zero. That's why I am not happy or impressed at all. whatsoever.

I know what you mean Valmont. It is very hard to get past David Fisher. I saw all of last season of Dexter, and am watching the first season now (they show two episodes per week on Showtime) and am FINALLY seeing him as a Dexter too.

It would make it much better if I could meet or at least talk to him, but for the most part, the crew and stuff are a bunch of jerks who forget that they are intruding upon us and NOT the other way around.

I would tradde places with you. I love dexter.
