i think my brain is a maze. it's a trap i've written for myself. everything i could possibly ever think, makes sense somehow. i can't escape.

the most inspiring stuff is completely random. like magnetic poetry. when you juxtapose two totally random things in a new way, your brain is forced to dig for answers in the more unconventional parts of your brain -- the more introspective meat of your head. and sometimes this new juxtaposition gives language to ideas you could never express before. because they weren't completely formed until just then.

does anyone else get that?

misunderstandings are the same way. sometimes you hear somebody wrong, and your brain jumps to some illogical conclusion. which is actually more logical to you than the way it was intended. and then you don't even care what the other person meant.

i guess it depends on who's counting. for me, random inspiration comes natural. as for expertise..well virtuosity is like having a simple answer to a close-ended question. my thought processing isn't that efficient. personally, i like having more breathing room.
