K now, in my last job this was our toilet set up:



as you can see, the room is ****ing tiny, there was no actual light and no windows. So, not only did I have to poo in the dark, if it was a smelly poo there was no way to hide the stength and because we worked in a small office of just four people, if you spent more than five minutes in the bog everyone else would notice and know you were having a dump.

i did a lot of poos in the stupidly small loo.

In my last job I actually had a quite nice lil private bathroom in teh office suite. & so o'course thought I was absolutely The Queen Of All Personal Amenities.. Only for awhile however bc by & by 2 other ppl started blithely using it when they couldn't be bothered to walk the few steps into the hall to the plentiful conveniently placed restrooms -- 2 at each end of the hall & one smaller one in middle,btw.

There was a lil slot on the outside of that/my BR door w/a sign that you slide over to say either "Occupied" or "Out Of Order",however. heh heh. I always felt bad doing that, tho.

The handicapped cubicles def did have way more privacy & leg room & such, except the ones which had been retro-fitted & jury-rigged for one of the other buildings in the complex.

(What I really envied were the vice-presidents' & Managing Directors' suites w/door locks on the OUTSIDE of their bathrooms.Meant that the key had to be carried, or given anyone else by the Office Admin Assistant or Sec'y. That woulda kinda rocked... Eh, well.)

Have any of you had teh experience that there always seem to be times of day when certain public/company restrooms are more likely to be deserted, esp on certain floors/areas? Lesson: Take breaks & lunch hrs at odd times? ftw?

Srsly what freaks me out way way more than the sounds of someone having a reasonably discreet poo, which usually is politely ignorable? That nauseating racket & stench of someone violently upchucking ! GAH Especially if one can literally hear it splattering . omfg.

Chyia, bathroom semi-Nazi ?

Because I sent my friend a pooing at work ranty email and she replied something like 'shut up whinging, it can't be that ****ing bad' so I took a photo of the toilet to prove to her my poo woes were justified.

i used to poo at work all the time. granted it was in the basement bathroom with only one stall. i think everyone **** in that bathroom. once i was using the regular bathroom and i used too much toilet paper and plugged up the toilet. i pretty much ran out of there.
