I was just thinking earlier this morning about giving change to homeless people. I remembered the time I gave £7 to a homeless kid who just needed £15 for a bed for the night. He was like sooo happy to have received all that change.

Yeah, I used to actually visit the city center on Fridays a lot to see my ex, Lita, and always brought change to give to the homeless.

See, it can backfire at times. When you see someone clearly strung out as opposed to hungry, you almost feel guilty giving them the money.
I guess I'm a bit of a homeless snob, I will always give to those who are playing music, and the ones who don't bother me for change.

Sometimes, you really do make me smile, and though it's schadenfreude, it is the very definition of such, which is "largely unanticipated delight in the suffering of another which is cognized as trivial and/or appropriate", (according to Wiki). It's definitely trivial and completely appropriate, which is why it amuses, and why I don't feel a shred of guilt about being amused. In other words, karma really is a bitch sometimes
