but this is actually kind of a serious situation. i mean, it reminds me that the reason i ended up in new york is because getting a job anywhere else is pretty impossible. i dont drive. AT ALL. never learned. never cared. id be stranded almost everywhere else.

and yes it is expensive to take a cab (i think. i honestly dont have a clue how much it would cost. also, i dont usually carry cash. do they have card swipers?) i make $8.50 an hour. i usually work 5-6 hour shifts so you do the math
i cannot quit.

the bus is 50 cents to get there. but getting home would be a problem

also, 5 miles is really not a long way. i mean, the distance isnt normally an issue. it takes me about 15 minutes to drive to work
