well most of the people on this board are relatively young. so they haven't gotten there yet. and it is pretty hard to even get a job at McDonald's here if you don't have some kind of degree. and i am sure that all of the people that come and dig ditches, clean dirty toilets, make tacos, and mow lawns have finance degrees back in their hometown of Mexico City or Panama.
that being said, discolexy probably made five times as much as you do at her bartending job. without having to have your degree. which she may have a degree. my last year at college, i got a job waiting tables and bartending. and i loved it. so, i moved to los angeles and did the same thing. and i just continued doing it for a couple of years. it was part time work. i never had to worry about drug tests. i made tons of cash. met all kinds of people. i made my own schedule. slept til noon everyday. anytime i needed to take a week off here or a month off there to travel, i did. anytime i needed any extra money in my pocket, i picked up a shift. that led me to getting a job managing a restaurant at a casino and resort. which had nothing to do with my degree. and blah blah blah. i kind of wish i still had my old job. i really didn't have much responsibility. less hours to punch in. and probably made just as much money without any of the hassle.
so, in all that ramble my point is this. you should really just STFU. and log off the internets permanently.
