Wow. So I came across the fact that american children are being served a glass of milk and a plate of cookies before bedtime.
(Beware, this was on a random 7th Heaven episode, which is a series I refuse to like watching). I googled this ritual and found out this is a common thing overseas.

I'm envious.

All my mother gave me was hot chocolate. And that was the biggest treat. Milk and cookies. How cool is that.

And, this is what this thread's for, how common is that?
Do you/did you get this every day or just on special occasions? Or only on a Sunday? Which cookies? And are we talking warm milk or cold milk?
I need to know.

i never got anything before bed. after brushing my teeth, i was told not to eat until breakfast, to protect my teeth.
