my dumb fucking bank took out my gym fees 3x today and then another automatic payment 2x. now i can't access the money in that account and they don't want to reverse it. i've been fighting with this cunt on the phone for the past 20 mins.

i don't want to tap into my savings cos that means i have to go into the bank as i cut up the card (on purpose) and if i go in i'll kill someone.

I had a bank that once tried to charge me overdraft for some shit they inadvertently took out.
Needless to say I switched banks, not as if the one I switched to is much better really...
I really would like to just keep my money in a box.

well here's a half-asleep, sugar-fuelled rant.

i am not looking forward to the day i stop being a tertiary student. actually i hope that day never comes i want to be a student forever so i can continue to have cheap bus fares, no bank fees and no money. seems like a better deal than having expensive bus fares, horrendous bank fees and no money.

back to the main topic though. banks are so sneaky. they were all like, "you're a tertiary student so you'll have no fees and no interest for 55 days!!1" and then i started getting charged interest. expensive interest. like $10 per month. even though i was paying about $100 per month. so i called the bank and they were really rude to me so i was just like, whatever and took money out of my savings to pay the whole thing so i didn't have to deal with their shit anymore.

and then this other bank VERY sneakily changed my account from a tertiary one to this other one that had fees on it. so i went in and was like, "hey, i'm still a student" and they were like, "well we sent you a letter telling you we were going to change it. it was sent in march" and i was like, "well i never got it and i'm still a student so change it back." they did. and then i got the letter. almost two months after it had supposedly been posted. cunts.

Do you actually go to the gym or just pay for the membership?

and is 'gym' really code for 'bathhouse'?

ugh, they sent me 2 keycards, one for my savings account and one for my pensioner account. when i told them they'd sent me 2, they asked me which one i wanted. i said i wanted the one to my pensioner account. so they cut one card up. dickheads cut up my pensioner account card and left me with the savings card. i didn't even know until i used the ATM on saturday, and 'savings' came up on it. i pressed 'other' but nope, i could only take money from my savings account.

I dont trust banks at all. Its like it's always a hassle to cash any checks you got. Wait it to clear for so many days..hello the bills need to be paid now not ten years later! Then they take "fees" when you make a withdrawl from your own account. Why have an account when they take more fees out of it? Isn't the point to save money rather than lose it? I am also a victim of identity theft happened to me in 2002. I'm still dealing with the mess of it. Yes I know about Courtney's rant on here pertaining to it.. but it is a serious problem. Find it funny the same banks that contributed to the problem now supposedly are doing something about the problem. Saw their true colors after that happened to me. Most of them are Don't care i would keep my money in a box...least id be the same amount when I got to it again.
