And yeah, it really depends on situation/location.
If I was "bugging out" as some call it a few things would be:
A couple LED flashlights. A typical 5mm LED cheap type for close tasks and a 1 watt for more walking/navigating purposes, both giving good battery life. One incandescent flashlight with a spare bulb. The LED's will hold up, but incase they don't, you can't easily just change a bulb like an incan will. All taking AA type batteries.
Some small first aid kit, maybe coupled with a few bulbs of garlic
Water purification tablets
A military mess kit
On my person, a Ka-bar type knife and a telescoping baton. (would prefer a 12 gauge but weight would be a serious henderance)
Some fishing gear - line, hooks, etc.
A sturdy bicycle would be great to have
But it all really just depends on said circumstances as to what would best serve you |
