and tomorrow i start a new job. im hella nervous, but also excited!

today was kinda shitty though. first off, after 2 years at this place, i dont think anyone seemed to care i was leaving. it kind of hurt my feelings considering i think of some of those people as friends, but whatever.

BUT thats not the shitty part. so today i was scheduled 8-4, and one of the girls coming in at 4 was late. she called, freaking out because she thought her water broke (shes not due till june) and we have a no call in policy (the sytem they go by sux...you have an emergency? better get on the phone and get covered or your fired, no lie) and obviously she has to go to the ER.

so me and another girl are calling everyone on the phone list and NO ONE is anwering or calling back, so obviously i have to stay. i was pissed. finally around 530 someone called and came in. it was crazy.

im just happy to be home now.

I quit my job fo 4 years in January and started a new one. I was shitting myself but it deff was for the better. I love my new job, I work half the days I used to and make more money.

I'm really nervous about having to get another job in the city I'm moving to in May, this job is so convenient.

Except for Sundays, of course. The psycho owner flipped shit a couple weeks ago and wants three of us there during our dead spell, JUST IN CASE (even though the two that are normally there are strong enough at their job to take care of it with no problem), so I have to come in at 3 instead of 4 or 5 like I used to. And it's Daylight Savings, so of course, it really feels more like going in at 2. I was tempted to call and say that I missed teh bus and won't be able to make it until later, but decided to save that excuse for a later time.

well i couldnt leave one person on...plus i liked both girls and that would be shitty.

so last night i was the idiot who left my lights on all night. i didnt know and then at 2am in the windy rainy cold i go to unlock my car with the keychain thingy and it wouldnt unlock, so i was like wtf??!! i unlocked it manually and my car wouldnt start. i was wiggin, crying, etc. finally 2 guys that worked there came out and i asked if they had cables and they did. one goes, "were you the one with her lights on all night?" i said, "oh...i guess so?" and they jumpstarted my car THANK GOD.

ugh...i didint get home till 330. way to start my first night. other than that it was fun and i think im going to love serving crazy drunks .

Awww...that's a shitty and underwhelming way to have a "last day" huh?? Not even a nice "goodbye" or "thanks" (which had to hurt a little), and to top it off...you have to have THAT kick in the ass dragged out by not getting to leave on time. Well, did it at least confirm any doubts you may have had about moving on?? Changes are hard (for me anyways), but sometimes the universe gives you that extra message to let you know that you've done the right thing, ya know??

I wasn't even getting paid as it was part of "college training" which sucked balls and it was full time and all.
