deepest regrets
in five years i will be the age where i have to definitely decide if i want kids or not because if i leave it longer than that then i might be too old for birthing

i don't want babies NOW but how can i decide for the rest of my life???

etc.

i dunno i feel weird. i mean my life is pretty awesome, i have tons of fun. it just makes me feel inadequate. like am i now too old to be a bartender with no plans for the future, no savings and several dysfunctional relationships at present. as well as half arsed plans for the summer and seeing bands and no plans to make real money or save it or anything?

i'm going to finish my degree. or something
there is a girl at my work who is about the same age as me and we talked about this a lot as we were the only people around that age there and we felt that feeling was the main thing about being mid twenties. whilst you're still into enjoying going out, dancing around and doing stupid stuff you could be a doctor, married with 2 kids. I think fear begins to set in about now, fear that you're wasting(wasted) your life and fear that the things you love could slip away without replacement.

I've definitely spent since I was 25 feeling a lot more nervous about my life and having regrets and stuff.

i hope you've tried heroin because once you are over 25 you can't do it anymore.

wrong! burroughs, the heroin addict of the 20th century, started on it in his 30s.

this is the sort of thing that makes me panic about getting older so I keep tabs on the limits.

WRONG!

DO'S AND DON'TS - Drugs

If you aren't at work, smoke weed whenever you want. But you are not allowed to go around telling everyone how stoned you are. That's for 13-year-olds.
As we've said before, no bumps after 4:30am.
Prior to age 25, it is OK to have one night of dabbling with heroin very six months. After 25, no more getting down with the brown. You'll just look like a gross old junkie the next day. You can switch to pills for your every-six-months opiate indulgence until you have kids. Then you never get to relax again until you are a senior citizen.

from VICE Magazine. The Do's and Don'ts Issue [The Be-All And End-All On What To Do About Everything] Volume 2 Number 3

and yes i typed that. capitals and all
