I don't think gay dating is the same as straight dating.
My last "date" or "boyfriend" or whatever you wanna call it dumped because I looked gay and he didn't want people knowing we were together. He wanted us to look like "buddies" if you know what I mean, I don't think any straight person dumps another for those reasons.
It's totally different to be gay. For starters, it's harder to find a date. Then you have to deal with the mandatory issues that vary from self loathing to deep reluctancy(sp) about being in a relationship and commitment, plus homophobia, your family accepting the relationship and the deal with having kids and so on and so on.
How could anyone in their right mind consider being gay and straight to be similar?? they are like completely different perspectives.  |
