Mine stems from a conversation with an exboyfriend. He was an underground filmmaker. I thought "Fifi L'Amour" would be a good stage name. He thought it was too drag queen.

mine is just my nickname from when i was little. my real name is alissa, so my family and close friends have just shortened it to lissie.
